Happiness Course Flyer Sept2015
An eight-week part-time online course and virtual coaching group offering training in strategies and insights that help us develop happier and more fulfilling lives. To book please use the paypal button at the bottom of this page.

We’re particularly developing the theme of ‘Sustainable Happiness’, a deeper, more enduring kind of happiness linked to meaningful purpose, growth of strengths, improved relationships and life satisfaction. With this approach, joy in the moment isn’t followed by guilt or regret the next day, happiness now isn’t at the expense of our own wellbeing, or that of other people, our world or future generations. Sustainable Happiness is something we can cultivate, plant, grow and build – by doing this, we take part in a cultural shift that is good for both ourselves and the world around us.

The course is run by Miriam Akhtar and Chris Johnstone and draws on their audiobook ‘The Happiness Training Plan’.

Each week focuses on different strategies we can use to raise our levels of happiness and life satisfaction, including the following:

  • Expressing Gratitude
  • Using Your Strengths
  • Living With Purpose
  • The Happiness Diet
  • Learning Optimism
  • Increasing Resilience
  • Improving Relationships
  • Cultivating Spiritual Happiness
  • Renewal Practices
  • Raising Levels of Fun

Starting on Wednesday 23rd Sept 2015, the group runs for eight weeks and involves a weekly teleseminar at 7.30pm UK time, plus access to online resources, including summary tutorials, videos and a group discussion forum.
